This is the summa teologica of Fiano or, if you prefer, one of the versions of Fiano that I like the most. Cernilli wrote about it in a splendid vertical tasting. While the color is typically, classic, what is astonishing is the way the aromas and flavors magically intermingle with notes that are balsamic, iodine-like, toasty, sweet, salty and candied, while the mouthfeel is sumptuous, fatty and fresh at the same time, bold and with a persistence that seems infinite. The only way to define this wine is immense.
