A Sangiovese that ages in 30hl oak barrels for around two years. The wine has a thick, compact ruby color and an aroma that is still young and intact with intense notes of various varieties of cherry and a light smoky sensation with balsamic, Mediterranean notes. The mouthfeel has an intense yet elegant attack with a thick texture, elegant tannins and a non-invasive acidity, while a steady progression leads to a both juicy and nervous finish. A good, very good wine, Romagna at its best thanks to the skill of Nicolucci who is able to express the wonderful are of upper Predappio.
