A classic Bordeaux blend (equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with 10% Sangiovese) that ages in barriques, something that would rile the ‘fundamentalists’ of native grapes. For us, instead, this wine unites a beautiful harmony of flavors with young yet polished tannins and an impeccable and never commonplace technical imprint. The color is a lovely ruby that is not dark while the aroma is of blackcurrant, blueberry, raspberry and a refreshing citrus and balsamic note. The mouthfeel is flavorful and upheld by non-invasive tannins.
