A deep, dark-ruby color with a purple edge and aromas of sour cherry and baking chocolate. The mouthfeel is quite concentrated with multi-layered tannins and a momentarily dry finish with an aftertaste of sour cherry and a hint of horseradish. Although the wine needs to age some more in the bottle (it will be best after the summer), it is a clear example of Arshura’s style: a clean bouquet and precisely made without being too technical, no overripe fruit and a surgical use of wood, dry to the palate and at the same time very rich.
