Made from only Vernaccia Nera grapes, the wine has a pronounced but not dense ruby color and an aroma that expresses the grape variety in textbook fashion with scents of green peppercorn, fennel, gunpowder and raspberry. The mouthfeel has a dry attack, is spicy in the middle and has a peppery finish, while remaining fresh in line with cool growing season. Drink cool and do not let it age.
