Terre di Dora 2012

This is a very textbook Fiano but then I would not expect anything less from a wine from Paolo Mastroberardino. It has a comforting yellow color with ample and clear green reflections. The nose, with its balsamic notes and those of aromatic herbs, could have been more complex but perhaps this will evolve with time. The mouthfeel plays on various levels of robustness, impact and persistence with a typical aftertaste that is a tad bitter.
