A perfect harvest, hot but not torrid, without any drought problems and grapes ripening to perfection. The result is an immense Sassicaia, one of the best of all time. The color is an intense, lively and bright ruby and the aromas range from notes of blueberry and black currant to light sensations of underbrush and spice within a broad and equally as youthful bouquet. The mouthfeel is taut and saline with an excellent body, not heavy and very elegant with a fantastic rapport between the alcoholic warmth and the refined agility of the tannins that are velvety and appealing while the finish has an extremely long and unforgettable persistence. A very great vintage
