Made from Pinot Noir, the base wine ages on fine lees, 90% in stainless steel and 10% in barriques. Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle and the wine then sits on the lees for 30 months. It has a bright, straw-yellow color with mustard-yellow reflections and an abundant effervescence. The bouquet opens with the varietal’s typical aromas and a sensation of dried rose followed by spicy notes of Swedish gingerbread cookies. The mouthfeel has sensations of dried fruit and tart cherry while the aftertaste is dominated by extremely fine cookies notes. Nothing is heavy or out of line and while it does not appear this will improve in the bottle, it certainly is a fine wine as an aperitif.

    18 € very well spent.
