A certainly interesting wine but with characteristics that are showing their age a little too prematurely. The garnet color has red-brick tones and the aroma is intense, wrapping, and evolved with complex scents of tamarind and truffle. The mouthfeel is bold, broad and soft with a touch of licorice and tannins that are a little bitter. The persistence is good.
