An interesting vintage, the product of a cool and rainy growing season. The garnet/amaranth color has a distinct red-brick edge and the complex bouquet has very particular and quite pleasing vegetal aromas including eucalyptus and tamarind, while the finesse is good but not exceptional. The mouthfeel is perfectly balanced with a full structure, good persistence and tannins that are less aggressive and bitter than in the ’82.
