    A very great wine with an intense ruby color and brick-red edge that is amazingly concentrated and quite bright. The aromas are complex and there is a sensation of resin alongside barnyard and vegetable scents (walnut husk, a touch of eucalyptus and dried fruit) and a smoky nuance. The tannic component is still strong in the mouthfeel and the persistence of the flavor is long with notes of licorice and spice while the aftertaste is of red fruit. The best vintage of the 1970s.
