The year is only indicative given that this was a blend of wines from 1967, ’68 – which represented the lion’s share – and ’69 with a small addition from ’65. Today it is virtually impossible to find a bottle and the few that remains can cost over 2,000 euros. The color is a distinct brick-red and is moderately concentrated. The bouquet is evolved and has some signs of oxidation while the aromas are those of walnut preserved in spirits and tar. The flavor has begun to go off even if the tannins are still present and the sensations from oxidation still do not dominate.
