A hot year with rain concentrated at the end of June and beginning of August. Harvest was slightly early. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. An intense and concentrated ruby-garnet color. The bouquet is very intense, ethereal, dark, with notes of berries on a background of vanilla and toasting sensations. A taut, distinct, rich and bold mouthfeel with an excellent, dynamic balance between the acidity and the tannins.
Bottles produced: 57,100; 4,550 half-bottles; 3,000 magnums; and 295 double magnums.
