A fairly normal year, a tad early. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. An intense, ruby-garnet somewhat concentrated. Typical and wrapping aromas, complex and clear with balsamic and vegetal hints and defined notes of red fruit. A distinct, saline and tannic mouthfeel with a bold body. A flavorful finish, long and persistent. Very pleasing.
Bottles produced: 28,000; 6,100 half-bottles; 3,046 magnums; and 235 double magnums.
