The growing season started off cold and rainy to then warm up and become more regular. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. A nicely concentrated ruby-garnet color. An ethereal and fruity nose with fresh notes of pomegranate and currant, along with those of almond and licorice. A taut, full mouthfeel with a nice acidity, agile and saline, with a nice, gutsy dynamic.
Bottles produced: 58,222; 5,009 half-bottles; 3,003 magnums; and 219 double magnums.
