A dry year but with excellent diurnal temperature variations in September. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Carmenère, 10% Merlot. Matured in French oak barriques that are both new and used two and three times. An intense garnet color. A sunny, ethereal and slightly balsamic and vegetal aroma, with hints of licorice and a blueberry component. A full and rich mouthfeel, thick tannins, a tad rough, warm yet with some supporting acidity.
Bottles produced: 68,085; 10,000 half-bottles; 2,300 magnums; and 100 double magnums.
