San Fereolo 2016

Made from Dolcetto grapes and aged in wood barrels of various sizes. The wine as a dense, ruby color with a purple edge and a wonderfully grapey bouquet defined by its aromas of roasted almonds and hints of aromatic herbs on a solid background of blackberry. In the mouthfeel the tannins are perfectly encompassed in the structure, which maintains its proverbial cordial character, ‘cold’ and delicate despite an evident richness. The aftertaste is of almond and dark fruit. Exquisite and, as we said, very easy to pair.
