This is perhaps the greatest ‘dry’ Riesling in existence and a formidable growing season produced this formidable wine. It has a canary-yellow color with light golden notes and seems as if it was just bottled. The aroma explodes into a thousand floral and mineral rivulets with notes of elderberry, kiwi, geranium, citron, acacia and more, making it impossible to describe all the fruity sensations that emerge from the glass. The mouthfeel is wonderful: dry and invigorating, very fresh and rich. This is absolutely the paradigm of Riesling and the balances expressed in such a chaos of sensations is almost embarrassing.
