    This was a good year in Dolceacqua and the 2014 wines have an extra edge. The color is a pale purple-ruby with slightly garnet reflections and the aroma has a distinct personality with a feral-spicy touch of amber followed by notes of marjoram, a hint of cola and one if orange peel. The mouthfeel begins fresh, with slightly rough but discontinuous tannins, to then become, as usual, peppery at the center of the mouth while the profound finish has notes of thyme. Splendid.
