The wine was aged on the lees in French oak barrels, only 20% new oak; unfiltered. Light ruby red, intense and elegant nose, ripe raspberry, red blossoms, pomegranate, light eucalyptus, leather. The palate is wonderfully balanced, ripe and structure with great extraction of tannins, quite smooth and refined and the acidity gives a long fresh and raspberry finish.
