One of the best Bordeau I’ve ever tasted. This was a small obsession of my grandfather who bought several old vintages which I was able to taste, the last one a few years ago. Unfortunately, only a few remain in my cellar. The last time I tasted this it had a color that was still absurdly intact even if it had some orange reflections. The bouquet was dominated by strong spice and shag tobacco, bark, licorice and tanned leather. The mouthfeel was amazing for how balanced and energetic it was and it was still fresh, caressing and illuminating with an almost unique tactile brilliance. The glass remained impregnated with the wine’s aromas.
