Blend of Sangiovese with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes, aged in old tonneau for 12-14 months then a further 10 months in cement tank and 25hl barrel. Smoky nose, almost peated and then red fruit. Tense and tasty palate, good acidity, intense and juicy; good finish.
