    This wine opens slowly, at first subdued and then little by little more eloquent. The bouquet is initially briny and spicy but then scents of fruit jam emerge. There are also notes of medicinal herbs, blood orange, thyme and nutmeg. The mouthfeel is lithe, with the tannins balanced by the acid-salty component. The finish has fruit and spice, with a slightly balsamic and iodine note.
