Nero d’Altura 2013

Made with only Nero d’Avola grapes, the wine is made in stainless steel and ages for a year in barriques. It has an almost purple color and a very floral aroma along with scents of red fruit and light, peppery notes. The mouthfeel is fresh and full of sensations of green peppercorn and while the tannins are evident they do not pose a problem. Lovely floral and peppery notes return in the aftertaste.
