Made from 57% Chardonnay and 43% Pinot Noir, this is the flagship wine offered by Monte Rossa, a now-historic winery in Franciacorta. Its an onionskin color, the bubbles are very refined and continuous, with scents of yeast next to those of wild strawberry, a touch of blackcurrant and white peach. The flavor is delicious, creamy, nicely deep, with a refreshing acidity, reinforced by carbon dioxide, that makes it dangerously easy to drink.
