We all agree that it is a crime to drink Valentini wines when their young, whether they be made from Trebbiano or Montepulciano grapes. This because they need time to develop their enormous potential. One would think that ten years would be enough age sufficiently... but it's not, it's not enough by a long shot. The wine is pitch dark, dark as a night without the moon or stars. The taste is rough, coarse, almost violent. The aroma starts off stinky and animal-like but once in the glass it begins to open up as if the scents were rays of sunshine. What will this wine become in the future? Wait and see, if you can...
