    Had the tannins not been so dusty this would have been a joy. Sweet prune jam (“When Sagrantino ages it revels its origin as a sweet wine,” the late Professor Doubourdieu used to say), leather and damp leather with a dynamic (for the wine) mouthfeel. A light-heavyweight.
