This vintage is extraordinary for how bold it is, even more so than the previous one if that is possible. The color is pitch black, impenetrable to the naked eye. The aroma is an explosion of shredded tobacco, Noberasco prune and an incredible spice component that runs from pepper corn to juniper berry, rhubarb to dark chocolate. All this and more. The mouthfeel is outstanding for its ability to wrap, it is almost like a Porto Quinta do Noval Nacional. The alcohol is evident but tamed by an off-the-scale texture. This is a wine for virile, uncompromising palates that seek absolute puissance.
