This is the latest vintage available retail for this varietal Chardonnay that ages 4-5 months in barriques and is offered a ridiculous price, on sale at the estate to the public for 9.50 euros. It has a bright, straw-yellow color, an elegant and intense aroma including a still-youthful note of olive, a great floral sensation and a light spice touch that while almost unnoticeable enhances the bouquet. There is also a balsamic streak that recalls the great Chardonnay wines. The mouthfeel is flavorful, slightly salty yet very drinkable and rewarding in the finish where austere notes uphold the floral aftertaste.
