Iridescent with its unbridled beauty. The color shows initial orange nuances, something that from now on will be present in all vintages even the oldest, more mature ones. The nose has a sunny grace to it, very lovely, with suffused balsamic and iodine sensations, incense and spice chasing each other, winding up with a magnificent finale of Haut Brion pipe tobacco. What is truly amazing is the mouthfeel for how rigid, rigorous and austere it is. The finish, as usual, is uncommonly long.
