Merlot 2009

If this is not the best Merlot in Friuli Venezia Giulia then it comes very close. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to find, unless you happen to be in the area... The wine has an intense and bright ruby color, a lovely bouquet of raspberry and vanilla and a distinct flavor, with a slight tannic edge due to its young age.

Serve at 18°C and pair it with baked veal shank or coda alla vaccinara.
