There are not many Merlot that are out of the ordinary. This one from Dario Raccaro stands out for its concentration and elegance, which in this 1999 example are remarkably explosive. It has a very concentrated ruby color and typical fruity scents, with a slight balsamic accent. The taste is full but not heavy, delicate and elegant.
