A blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir with 30% of the juice fermented in wood barrels. The wine sits in the lees for 50 months. The color is a dense, straw-yellow with a lively and constant effervescence while the bouquet opens with notes of toasted bread, brioche and thyme followed by those of white melon and orange. The mouthfeel is pleasing and lithe with a typical saline-acidic streak. The wine is still evolving.
