    There are no two ways about it, 2000 was an exceptional year for Abruzzo reds. This still has an opaque ruby (!) color and a slightly garnet edge. The aromas are salty, balsamic with a note of black cherry while the mouthfeel is incredibly bold and dynamic. A giant on tiptoes that still has another 15 years ahead of it.
