With its luminous, barley candy color with antique gold reflections, this is the only wine without any copper hues. The bouquet is very long in opening with very light notes of caramel, burnt oil, dried fruit and salt. With breathing (days) emerge hints of metal and damp wood. The mouthfeel is semi-sweet and not that viscous, salty to the palate and with a dry finish of dried fruit and damp wood. All things considered, this is more like a Tuscan Vinsanto. A very pleasing wine in which the sensations from bottle aging have replaced those of the mold and terroir.
