    A blend of 70% Sangiovese and 30% Canaiolo that has ruby color with a garnet edge. The aroma is sunny and Mediterranean, ethereal, with notes of rhubarb, carob, thyme, laurel, juniper, tobacco and pomegranate juice. The mouthfeel is bold, pleasingly dense and alcoholic with vigorous tannins and a distinct salinity. The finish is warm and very persistent and slightly diluted due to the alcohol that is more evident than in other vintages.
