Made from Verdicchio grapes and aged on the lees in stainless steel for nine months. The wine has a bright, straw-yellow color which is full but not nervous, while the aroma opens slowly with notes of green almond, mustard and chalk on a limestone background. The mouthfeel is very personal with an acidity that always remains hidden while the attack is of citrus and toasted almond followed by a bitter yet pleasing note that is very distinct, for this type of wine, and the finish is warm and spicy with sensations of yellow flowers and slightly coarse yeast. All this is held together by an evident dynamism and linearity typical of Val Misa and the aftertaste is very persistent. Wine lovers may disagree about this wine, because of the acidity, but then this is from Val Misa.
