A contrasting wine that I adore because it imitates the more famous Romanée Conti, while others hate it because it is almost impossible to find and its price is comparable to its illustrious cousin. They are separated by just a stretch of land to the east but in this case the vineyards have a greater pitch and a higher latitude. The truth is that this wine now shines in its own light and has achieved the utmost quality. It has a distinct and bright purple-red color and a saturating aroma with notes of candied blackberry, wild berry gelatin and black cherry. This tridimensional aroma reaches its peak after breathing long in the glass where it reaches an unusual intensity. The mouthfeel is harmonious and elegant without any excesses and is amazingly perfect. A wine that will move you.
