La Lastra 2010

The grapes used for this wine come from two vineyards that are both over 30 years old and are considered crus due to their position and tufaceous-clay soil. In this wine you can distinguish the hand of the producer, also thanks to the decision to ferment and age in wood. The color has an almost Burgundy-esque tone to it, while the wine itself has great elegance and finesse with its floral bouquet of elder and gorse flowers and jasmine tea fragrance. The mouthfeel feel has a rich attack and is very balanced, while the use of wood brings out its tridimensional texture and broadness, capped by a nice piquant finish.
