Made from Sauvignon and fermented and matured in stainless steel where it sits on the lees for seven months. The wine has a pale, greenish and straw-yellow color with an amazingly luster. The aromas have pinpoint precision with notes of kiwi followed by those of tropical fruit like mango, yellow fruit like peach, a smoky note, yellow pepper, curry and flint making the bouquet literally unstoppable. The mouthfeel is fresh and rich for a Sauvignon with an exquisite citrusy acidity and a musical persistence. All it lacks (if you can say that) is a shift in gear. This should continue to evolve for at least another 20 years but it is already fabulous now.
