This first vintage is certainly now the best. It is no secret that the great Negroamaro wines need to age in the bottle for years in order to allow their elegance and complexity to evolve. This 2006 has everything in the right place, from its dark color with bright reflections to its very elegant aroma composed of ripe red fruit, black cherry and thyme. The taste is endless, very elegant, balanced, with accents of graphite and very refined tannins which all entice one to have another glass.
