This Bianco di Pitigliano made with Trebbiano grapes and a noticeable addition of Sauvignon and Greco, is quite impressive. It ferments for some three days before being transferred to steel vats where it remains until it is bottled.
The color is a very bold yellow, while the aroma is extremely rigorous and intense with scents of ripe yellow peach, European pear and lychees followed by slightly balsamic notes with a scent of passion fruit gelatin. The mouthfeel is rich but with a nice acidity and a very captivating salty streak which gives it freshness. The finish is consistent with this and has a good persistence.
