Made off the skins from Pinot Noir with fermentation and malolactic fermentation taking place in barriques and aged for 12 months in barriques on the lees with batonnage. The wine has a medium, golden straw-yellow color with copper reflections and a bouquet that could easily be mistaken for one of a Burgundy wine, with its notes of dried yellow fruit and chalk. The attack of the mouthfeel is bold and at the center of the mouth, where there is a distinct sensation of dried fruit (walnut), to then close deep and strong with notes of anise, walnut, cream and pear for a juicy finish. A great wine that usually peaks between its fifth and tenth year but is very good even before then.
