Made from Sagrantino grapes and fermented in stainless steel vats where the wine macerates on the skins for 25 days before aging for ten months in 30hl barrels and then another six months in the bottle. The wine has an intense, ruby color and an intriguing aroma of small red fruits and balsamic whiffs in an overall pleasing and clear bouquet. The attack of the mouthfeel is direct, fruity and fresh before its nice structure prevails with its bold yet balanced tannins all enveloped in a wrapping sensation. Annual production: 10,000 bottles.
