This was different, more of an old style wine but well-made and very good. It has an intense ruby color, a complex bouquet with dark notes of underbrush, ripe cherry and floral hints of violet. There are lots of extracts but they are classy with non-invasive, crispy tannins and a thick and tasty flavor that is never sweet. The finish is intense and very broad.
