If you want to know what the 2013 Riserva will be like in a few years, then taste this very great wine. It is a masterpiece of the varietal’s nuances and expressions, austere and detailed in its aromas (grapefruit, anise and thyme) with an integrity that will leave you dumbfounded. The impression is that it should have gone on the market only now with its aristocratic personality that recalls a Bucci Riserva. This vintage still has decades ahead of it and while it may have less pluck than the 2013, it has the same freshness. Still available at the winery at a steep yet appropriate price of 50 euros.
