This vintage 2015 is a great white with all its best characteristics in the right places. It has a straw-yellow color with bright reflections that are a little bit yellow and a little bit green. The bouquet is still slightly compressed (it still needs to age a few more months) but it already has great complexity with notes of white flowers, chamomile, fresh herbs and sage, as well as measured ones from the wood. The mouthfeel epitomizes its adherence to the varietal and it is consistent with the nose but what really stands out is its body, its density and texture united by a mighty freshness. All this does not hamper its finesse, elegance and persistence that will make your eyes pop out. Just to be clear, over the coming decades this will become an outstanding wine, right now it is only very good. Those willing to wait will be doing the right thing, as are those who drink it now.
