This is a blend of Merlot (85%), Sangiovese (8%) and Petit Verdot (7%). The color is a dark ruby, so dense it is almost impenetrable. The aroma is a spectrum of scents dominated by ripe fruit, blackberry and currant. As it breathes balsamic and spicy scents emerge, moss to roasted notes, from white pepper to anise, then towards the end there is cacao and in the distance a spicy vegetal component that brings dynamism to the glass. The fruit returns in the flavor, meaty and chewy, with tannins that are bold yet tame, balanced by the acidity. The finish is balsamic and wrapping.
