Very rich and corpulent, a significant complexity made this quite a surprise. One usually approaches a Trockenbeerenauslese (TBA) with some trepidation but in this case the wine puts you at easy with its bright, yellow color and a density that while oily is less so than the others. The aroma is slightly citrusy, with its typical streak of hydrocarbon only hinted at. The impact of the mouthfeel is amazing for how sweet it is but this changes as if by magic once on the palate to then leave the mouth clean and pleasingly ready for another sip. The persistence is great.
