Fiano di Avellino 2001

The older this wine gets the more it surprises not only for its integrity but also its structure. This has a luminous, bold yellow color while the aroma was the best of the tasting due its intensity and complexity. The note of cinnamon and spice was quite unique and the mineral component thrilling. The mouthfeel, on the other hand, is almost majestic, solemn and similar to a Meursault, garnished with dried fruit and hazelnut. The attack of the flavor is excellent, sweet, soft, upheld by a gushing acidity even within a bold structure. The aftertaste was very long and left us with our mouths open.
